Martha’s Cobbler Recipe

This recipe was passed down to me from Mr. T’s mom.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

4 Tbsp margarine
1 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 Tbsp baking powder
1 1/2 c. milk
1 3/4 c. sliced fruit (fresh or canned)

melt margarine in over in 13x9x2 pan

Mix sugar, flour, and baking powder with whisk. Add milk and stir just until moistened. Pour on Margarine. Do Not Stir.

Add fruit on top of the batter, and sprinkle another 1/2 c. sugar over the top.

Bake about 45 minutes. Serve warm.
